Pregnancy, Back Pain, and the NO-DRUG Solution.

Pregnancy is tough on your body! As many of us have experienced,
lower back pain can make pregnancy all that much harder, especially
as the baby belly grows.

At a time when most women consciously avoid all
drugs or anything that could potentially harm their
growing babies,
CHIROPRACTIC CARE is a sensible, effective,
drugless choice to help
women get through pregnancy
with less or no low back pain.

Chiropractors can help other common aches and pains too, such as
hip pain, leg pain, neck pain, mid-back pain, headaches, and even
sleep-deprived nights.

Research: Effectiveness of Chiropractic During Pregnancy.

If you’re like me, you’d like to see what the research says.

Check out this study AND its conclusion:

“Outcomes of pregnant patients with low back pain undergoing
chiropractic treatments . . .” [click here]

“A large proportion of pregnant patients with LBP or pelvic pain undergoing
chiropractic treatment report clinically relevant improvement in their symptoms
at all time points up to 1 year.”

Specifically, at 1 week after starting treatment, 52% of patients improved;
70% improved at 1 month; 85% improved at 3 months; 90% of patients
improved at 6 months;
88% improved at 1 year.

Excellent chances that a chiropractor can help you, too!

Pregnant Chiropractor’s Pain-to-NO-Pain Miracle.

When six months pregnant, I was struck by crippling lower back pain.

Unbeknown to me (then), a doctor of chiropractic, I had a
sacroiliac joint slippage. [click here]

My husband and I happened to be fledgling chiropractors, sopping wet
behind the ears. For two weeks we tried to help me—without success.

Swallowing our pride, we finally reached out to an experienced, highly
skilled chiropractor.

In a matter of a couple minutes, my back pain all but disappeared.
Literally, I went from crawling on the floor to care for our toddler
to walking upright with almost NO pain.

My low back pain was completely GONE in a day or two! I was shocked!

And get this. That chiropractic adjustment was completely PAINLESS!! [Click here for details.]

Sparked by this experience, I learned and mastered this very same
adjusting method and have used it for decades in my practice.

It’s amazingly effective and super gentle! And we women need gentle
when we’re pregnant!

Quick Questions and One Chiropractor’s Answers.

Let’s explore some of your questions, shall we?

Bear in mind that my answers are based on my four decades of education,
experience, and advanced training. My opinions and methods of adjusting
may (probably do) differ from those of other chiropractors.

I strongly encourage you to seek other chiropractors’ opinions too.

*Question: Is chiropractic effective in relieving lower
back pain in
pregnant women, even in the last trimester?

Answer: Yes, almost always, especially if you follow through with my
recommendations.

*Question: Do your chiropractic adjustments hurt?

Answer: No. They really don’t! The chiropractic methods I use to
relieve your lower back pain and any spine-related pain are super
gentle (unbelievably so), but seriously effective for almost everyone.

*Question: Is my baby safe while you adjust my spine?

Answer: Absolutely! When I adjust your spine and related areas, I put no
pressure whatsoever on your growing uterus or your baby.

In fact, if I briefly lie you on your stomach to adjust you, I place a
special “pregnancy” pillow under your tummy area with the perfect
hole in the middle to accommodate your growing baby bump.

You and your baby stay comfy cozie at all times.

*Question: Do most chiropractors accept pregnant
patients into their practice?

Answer: My best guess—yes. However, before going to any chiropractor,
ask questions about the adjusting techniques she uses, how effective her
techniques are with pregnant women, and do her adjustments hurt.

*Question: When pregnant, how do you find the chiropractor
right for you?

Answer: The same way you find a chiropractor when you’re not pregnant
with one additional question for the chiropractor: Are you comfortable with and
experienced in taking care of pregnant women?

To find the right-fit chiropractor, peek at these tips I’ve detailed
in another article in my blog in DocMartinChiropractic.com . [click here]

Your Chiropractor—Your New Best Friend

With “precious cargo on board,” we women work, or should work, extra hard
to take care of ourselves. The healthier we are, the healthier our babies.

Along with eating an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, we need to
move, to exercise. Like daily walking or swimming.

We also must avoid taking anything into our bodies
that could be potentially harmful to our baby’s health.

Like drugs, pain killers and anti-inflammatories included.

During your pregnancy, your carefully chosen chiropractor could be
hugely helpful to you and, in turn, to your baby.

When your chiropractor helps minimize or eliminates lower back pain,
as well as other aches and pains, you will be able to:

feel better throughout your pregnancy.

move better while engaging in daily activities and responsibilities.

exercise more, walk more.

make health-supporting food choices due to clearer thinking and
more energy.

sleep better and turn in bed better due to less pain and discomfort
in your lower back.

stay stronger, calmer, and steadier within yourself and with your
children and husband IF you’re not struggling with so much lower
back pain and other areas of aches and pains.

During pregnancy, your chiropractor may, just
may, become your new best friend–uplifting you
and cheering you on the whole time!
